Philanthropic Screening, Wealth Screening and Results Assessment
If you are looking for an affordable way to accelerate your prospect identification and fund raising, DonorSearch File Review may be a
solution.  We can take a properly formatted list of hundreds or even thousands of constituent names and conduct an automated
review of the DonorSearch databases.

The DonorSearch Screening will return a ranked list of your constituents who have been the most philanthropic. The analysis will
summarize your constituents’ significant giving to other organizations.   This is a three step process that includes a review of the
DonorSearch databases, a wealth append and review and visual assessment of the best records for accuracy.
  • Each screening includes a review of the philanthropic inclinations and a wealth review to reveal giving capacity.  The service includes a separate four-hour
assessment and reconciliation process.  This process is a manual review of records and detail where major gift levels are indicated.  The assessment
will indicate which transactions are likely matches, possible matches, or mismatches.  The objective is to produce short list of highly-qualified
    philanthropic major gift prospects.

  • The philanthropic review returns detailed information regarding your prospect’s giving to other organizations.  The detailed report includes gift ranges,
gift years, recipient organization’s location, number of gifts found, high gift amount found, and a sum of the matched gifts.  Review includes a review of
multiple philanthropic source, multiple political giving sources, connections, and more.  Matches are derived from the donor’s and recipient location and
the uniqueness and complexity of the donor name match.

  • The estimated giving capacity list review includes home market value, household estimated income up to $500,000+, age, discretionary income
comparisons, estimated net worth and an estimated giving capacity (5 year stretch gift).  This process develops a holistic view of the household.  For
example, the discretionary income model is based on comparison of assets and equity to debt, an assessment of life stage (college, mortgages, etc.)
incorporating length of residence, age, presence of and age of children and local tax rates.  Invested assets, home equity loans, projected savings and
indicators of spending behavior are also part of the model.  The assessment also incorporates summarized banking information including aggregated
    credit usage.

  • The list review also include the delivery of detailed wealth and affiliation profiles for selected records that includes likely business affiliations, foundation
trustees, real estate ownership, SEC insider stock holdings, nonprofit board affiliations, and biographical profiles.  By default the detailed wealth
screening is conducted on the best of the philanthropic prospects identified and the client’s overall giving history and internal ratings.

  • The initial package includes a four-hour assessment.  We will qualify your results and identify your 50 best prospects.  Typically, this involves the detailed
analysis of approximately 50 of your most highly rated prospects.  Regardless of the assessment, clients receive all of the results from all matches.

  • Additional four-hour assessments are available for $500 each.  The additional assessment can focus on qualifying more major gift prospects or it can
be used to confirm lower level donors.  We could confirm candidates for upgraded annual fund amounts or gift clubs by identifying at least one gift to
another organization at the $500, $1,000, or $2,500 level.

  • All screening services include an annual subscription to DonorSearch giving databases online and DonorScape for wealth and affiliation.  In contrast, the
online services are excellent for researching small groups of names or one record at a time.
