Many Roads, One Path: A Conversation with Erin Nelson

In this episode, we speak with Erin Nelson who leads international advancement at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Erin joined the fundraising profession after a winding road that included a graduate degree in medieval Japanese literature, a year of full-time study of the Japanese tea ceremony, two years living in Israel, and then eventually cutting her fundraising teeth in Maine at various institutions. She landed in her current role four years ago.
