“What you Absolutely, Positively, Have to be Doing on LinkedIn Right Now: Nonprofit Professional Edition” This will be a high-level conversation about recent changes and fresh self-marketing ideas, with practical tips and strategic techniques for optimizing your personal brand to share your organization’s mission. If you are referred by someone or they found you on a LinkedIn or google search, when they open your LinkedIn profile, you must impress them to “fall in like” with you from reading your LinkedIn profile. Then they will want to contact you and you can reiterate the themes from your profile as they “fall in love” with you to volunteer, support, underwrite, donate, or advise you. This session is about telling “why you do what you do” not “what you did” It is about making yourself amazing-er on LinkedIn than the other nonprofits you compete with for donor time and money.
